Macedonia w skrócie, jak się tu dostałam?

Macedonia to wciąż niezbyt popularny kierunek, mimo że oferuje nam tak wiele- piękną przyrodę, starożytne zabytki, wielokulturowość, jest tu niedrogo, a dodatkowo nawet nie trzeba mieć paszportu aby przekroczyć granicę- można wjechać na podstawie dowodu osobistego. Do Skopje dostałam się z serbskiego Nišzu autobusem Niš Express- czas przejazdu to około 4 godzin. Za bilet w jedną stronę zapłacimy 1300 RSD (ok. 10 euro). Taniej jest kupić bilet z wyprzedzeniem i w dwie strony (2130 RSD). Korki zaczynają się przed granicą i należy się przygotować, że możemy spędzić na granicy trochę czasu. Kontrola jest dokładna, trzeba wysiąść z autobusu i przejść przez granicę pieszo, po czym wracamy do autobusu.

Macedonia i jej stolica- jakie są?

W Skopje miałam zostać tylko jedną noc- zostałam dłużej, żal mi było wyjeżdżać. Podobało mi się i to bardzo. Mimo, że Skopje mają nieco charakterystyczny klimat i wszechobecne pomniki wydają się czasem nieco kiczowate, to miasto jest pełne uroku i może nam zaoferować wiele atrakcji. W Skopje współistnieją dwie religie i kultury- wschodni islam oraz prawosławie. Wielokulturowość Macedonii tworzy niesamowitą atmosferę, a jej mieszkańcy są serdeczni i pomocni. Pierwszy dzień zaznajamiam się z miastem.

Dom Pamięci Matki Teresy. Nie wiem czy wiecie, ale urodziła się ona właśnie w Skopje. Na piętrze znajduje się muzeum, wejście jest nieodpłatne.

W Skopje zobaczymy niemal każdy możliwy styl architektoniczny

Čaršija

Stare Miasto w Skopje czyli Čaršija, znajduje się za kamiennym mostem. Ta część miasta poczęstuje nas orientalnym smakiem. Większość mieszkańców tej dzielnicy stanowią Albańczycy. Warto tu pospacerować. Możemy obejrzeć zabytkowe meczety, powłóczyć się i pooglądać życie mieszkańców, znajdują się tu także muzea i galerie sztuki. Warto także zajrzeć na stary bazar- jest on największym bazarem na Bałkanach. Drugi pod względem wielkości po Stambule. Kupimy tu niemal wszystko. Stragany uginają się od towarów- biżuterii, rękodzieła, wszystkiego. Znajdziemy tu golibrodę, salon sukni ślubnych, a nawet sklep z opakowaniami na prezenty. Możemy popróbować kuchni regionalnej, napić się tradycyjnej herbaty z czajniczka, wypić kawę po turecku, pograć w karty. Warto spróbować pieczonej nadziewanej papryki, szaszłyków, obowiązkowo burek w towarzystwie jogurtu, sami rozumiecie dlaczego przyjechać na jeden dzień tutaj, byłoby grzechem… Ceny są tu atrakcyjne, a macedońskie denary, wydaje się wyjątkowo przyjemnie. Čaršija zaprasza również wieczorem- to właśnie tu kwitnie życie nocne Skopji.

A na obiad tawcze grawcze (тавче гравче) – tradycyjne macedońskie danie- zapiekana fasola oczywiście w towarzystwie kawy po turecku.

Macedonia Skopje podswietlony pomnik Aleksnadra Wielkiego

Oficjalnie „Wojownik na koniu”- pomnik znajduje się na Placu Macedonia, swą nazwę zawdzięcza chęci niedenerwowania Greków, a tak naprawdę toż to Aleksander Wielki (Macedoński). Spacer po mieście wieczorem jest niezłym doświadczeniem wizualnym, miasto błyszczy i miga na różne kolory. Ci odważniejsi czasem mówią o Skopje „Małe Vegas”.

Kanion Matka

Następny dzień planuje poświęcić na odwiedzenie Kanionu Matka. Miałam trochę problem z odczytaniem rozkładu jazdy ( http://www.jsp.com.mk/VozenRed.aspx). Wracając wieczorem do hostelu, usłyszałam polskie rozmowy, postanowiłam podpytać rodaków jak tam dojechać. Niewiele jednak mi w tej kwestii pomogli, gdyż nie słyszeli jeszcze o tym miejscu, jednak po rozmowie ze mną postanawiają je włączyć do planu podróży. Ta 9-osobowa ekipa podróżowała busem po całych Bałkanach, podzielili się ze mną wiedzą, pięknymi zdjęciami, wrażeniami oraz polską wódką. A wieczorem ruszamy razem na podbój Skopji.

Wracając do kanionu- jeśli lubisz obcować z przyrodą warto poświęcić na to miejsce jeden dzień. Podróż z miasta trwa około 40 minut autobusem (linia 60, koszt 35 denarów). Będąc na miejscu warto udać się na godzinny rejs, podczas którego jest możliwość wejścia do jaskini (400 denarów). Warto pamiętać o wygodnych butach, gdyż droga wokół kanionu jest kręta i stroma.

Niemożna obejść kanionu dookoła, droga w pewnym momencie urywa się i jest zagrodzona. A na barierce odkryłam taki o to napis ostrzegawczy wykonany przez rodaków.

Góra Vodno

Po powrocie z Kanionu postanawiam odwiedzić także górę Vodno. Z jej szczytu – 1066 m.n.p.m m można podziwiać piękne widoki. Dostaniemy się tam autobusem, który wyrusza spod dworca autobusowego- linia 25 i dalej kolejką linową (100 denarów). Znowu miałam trochę problemu z autobusem, gdyż co chwilę jakiś odjeżdża, na przystankach nie ma rozkładu, a część autobusów nie posiada numeracji i kierunki są pisane cyrylicą… W końcu jednak udaje mi się wsiąść w odpowiedni autobus w towarzystwie pary Australijczyków, to już ostatni by załapać się na kolejkę linową. Jedziemy więc zadowoleni ze swojego szczęścia.

Do Macedonii wrócę na pewno! Ogólnie marzy mi się długa podróż po całych Bałkanach. W tym „bałkańskim chaosie” jest magia, która sprawi że zakochasz się w tych rejonach- bezsprzecznie i raz na zawsze. Ja już przepadłam.

Macedonia mnie kompletnie zaczarowała! Co prawda na Skopje zabrakło już czasu ale Jezioro Ochrydzkie i Kanion Matka odwiedziliśmy. To jest takie miejsce, do którego na pewno kiedyś wrócę- choć nie lubię wracać do miejsc, które już odwiedziłam. Mam wrażenie , że jedynie "liznęłam" Macedonii a ona ma tyle kolorów i tajemnic 🙂

To prawda – Macedonia nie jest najbardziej popularnym, bałkańskim kierunkiem, natomiast jeśli ktoś już się tam wybiera, to na pewno trafi do Skopje lub Ochrydy. W Macedonii bywam ostatnio dość często, a zanosi się, że będę jeszcze częściej i mam nadzieję zacząć ją promować na alternatywę dla innych krajów. Oczywiście to bałkańskie państwo zawsze będzie trochę przegrywać z innymi, gdyż nie ma dostępu do morza, a jednak wielu turystów jego właśnie potrzebuje podczas wakacyjnego wypoczynku.
Jeśli chodzi o samo Skopje, to miasto cały czas się zmienia. Obserwując te zmiany od ponad 3 lat mogę stwierdzić jedno – mimo całej gigantomanii i coraz to nowych pomników, miasto wygląda coraz lepiej. W szczególności w nocy, gdy wszystkie obiekty są doskonale podświetlone.

Skopje na początku robi dziwne wrażenie – ale ma swój klimat i nam w Skopje bardzo się podobało, tym bardziej że Macedonia nie jest jeszcze jakoś bardzo turystyczna a ma naprawdę wiele do zaoferowania i jest to piękny kraj.
